This website is operated by Renwick Advisory PLT, a limited liability partnership registered in Malaysia (LLP0047209-LGN; SSM 202604001969), based in Kuala Lumpur (“Renwick”, “we”). We are the data user for personal data collected through this website under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, organisation (optional) and the contents of your message. Name, email and message are required so we can respond; if you do not provide them we cannot respond to you. We may also receive technical data (such as IP address) that our hosting provider logs for security and delivery. This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data and ask that you do not send it.
We use your data only to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and, where agreed, enter into an engagement, to keep records required by law or for our legitimate business administration, and to protect this website. We do not sell your data and do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask to receive it.
We share data only with service providers who host this website, process form submissions or provide our email, acting on our instructions, and with regulators, courts or advisers where the law requires or permits. Some providers operate servers outside Malaysia. Where data is transferred abroad we do so only as permitted by the PDPA, relying on the provider’s safeguards and your consent given through the contact form.
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after the last communication, or longer where an engagement exists or the law requires, then delete or anonymise them. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted connections. If a personal data breach occurs that causes or is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected individuals as the PDPA requires.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, limit how it is processed, or, where applicable, request that it be transferred (data portability). Write to hello@renwickadvisory.com. We will respond within the time the PDPA allows. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer respond to your enquiry. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner.
